The short version

The Clocksmith app collects no data. It has no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts. The only network request it ever makes is a one-time license activation when you enter your key — the free trial makes zero network calls.

The Clocksmith app

Runs entirely on your Mac. Its only network connection is a one-time call to Lemon Squeezy's license server to activate your license key (and an occasional re-check of that key). No other data is sent.
Reads the schedule configurations in your ~/Library/LaunchAgents folder and your Mac's local system log, solely to display them to you. This information never leaves your Mac.
Stores its own settings (such as your label prefix preference) locally in macOS user defaults.
Contains no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.

This website

This site is a static page hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies. It uses GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits and download-button clicks in aggregate — no cookies, no fingerprinting, no personal profiles, and nothing is shared with advertisers. GitHub may also collect standard server logs (such as IP addresses) as described in GitHub's privacy statement.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Payment details and order information (such as your email address for delivery and receipts) are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their privacy policy. We receive only the order information needed for customer support, and we do not use it for marketing.
